| The Quaalup Homestead Wilderness Retreat is situated right in the Fitzgerald River National Park, on the South Coast of Western Australia, between Albany(180km) and Esperance(340km). Download the Fitzgerald River National Park brochure: Fitzgerald_brochure Devil Creek Road is the main 2WD(gravel) access into the National Park and to Quaalup from Highway 1. Road directions to Quaalup Homestead: From Albany it is km 180, stay on the South coast HWY, pass Boxwood Hill, leave the HWY directly after Gairdner (a few houses and a wheat bin) follow our signs and the National Park sign into "Devil Creek Road" From the Stirling Ranges it is 120km, travelling south towards South Coast HWY via the Borden- Boxwood Hill Road (Boxwood Hill is a Roadhouse) through the Corackerup Nature Reserve. Turn left onto the HWY towards Jerramungup and leave the HWY after Gairdner, into Devil Creek Road, here are signs to us and to the National Park. From Perth CBD to Quaalup it is 540km using the following route:
From Esperance it is km 340, easiest access road is again Devil Creek Rd, Quiss Road is a very long drive on gravel, we advise only to use it early in the day. From Bremer Bay it is 47km for 2WD ( gravel), and for 4WD it is 18km(dry weather road only!). Make sure you fuel up at Boxwood Hill (coming from Stirling or Albany), Jerramungup (coming from Perth or Esperance) or in Bremer Bay. The GPS reading is: WGS 84; 34° 15.602'S; 119° 24.603'E
