It will feel like you are far away from civilisation, and still it is only a comfortable distance from Perth (km 520) or Albany (km 180) for example.
Relax in the heart of the Fitzgerald River National Park
The Fitzgerald River National Park, between Bremer Bay and Hopetoun, is internationally recognised by UNESCO as a World Biosphere Reserve, is one of Australia's largest and most botanically significant Parks with beautiful wildflowers to be found all year round. About 1.784 plant species have been found so far, 75 found nowhere else, for example the Hakea Victoria or the Qualup Bell. A true wilderness - environmentally friendly solar powered
The Park is blessed with a magnificent scenery, mountain ranges, red cliffs, rivers, inlets and the incredible white sanded beaches with the crystal clear azure blue waters of the southern ocean.
You can't stay closer to the famous beach of Point Ann, one of the two places ( the other is Head of the Bight) along Australias coast where Southern Right Whales come to calve during their winter migration. It is simply the best spot for whale watching in WA ( Western Australia )
The heritage listed Quaalup Homestead built 1858 adds a
special atmosphere to this place and give guests an impression of the early
settlement days. Guests are welcome
